Obituary of James A. Rougeau

Granby- James A. "Jim" Rougeau, 85, passed away November 2, 2023. He was born in Springfield, MA, on November 6, 1937, to the late William A. and Margaret (McDevitt) Rougeau. Jim proudly served his country as a BT3 in the United States Navy. Following his time in the service, Jim worked as a Boiler Operator at Pratt & Whitney for many years before retiring. He also enjoyed carpentry and woodworking, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. Besides his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Bill Rougeau. He will be dearly missed by his wife of over 60 years, Barbara (Kowalewski) Rougeau; son, James D. Rougeau, of Granby; daughter, Debra Ann Rougeau, of FL; daughter-in-law, Bobbi, of Granby; and his granddaughters, Casey and Cameron Rougeau, of Granby. Services will be held privately at the discretion of the family. Please consider making a donation in memory of Jim to Mary's Meadow Rehabilitation or to Holyoke Hospital.
