Obituary of Carole A. Woods

Granby -Carole A. Woods, 76, passed away December 2, 2023, at Holyoke Medical Center. She was born on June 9, 1947, in Springfield, MA to Walter and Mabel (Wedge) Woods. Carole was raised in Wilbraham and graduated from Minnechaug High School. Carole worked as an office manager for Dr. Robert Sears for many years. She retired from Amity Medical Associates. She was an avid animal lover and adored horses. She also enjoyed deep-sea fishing and dancing with her companion Ray. She will be deeply missed by her best friend and companion of 30 years, Raymond Crane and his son Donnie Crane both of Granby. She also leaves two brothers, David Woods of NH and Walter "Woody" Woods, III of FL as well as nieces and nephews. Services are private and Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Dakin Animal Shelter.
