Obituary of Lorilee A. Robert

Granby - Lorilee A. (Wordsworth) Robert, 86, passed away unexpectedly on December 12, 2023. She was born in 1937 in South Hadley, the daughter of Stanley and Erna (Dietel) Wordsworth. She graduated from S. Hadley High in 1955. She married her high school sweetheart; Wilfred Robert and they recently celebrated their 70th Wedding Anniversary. Lorilee and Wilfred worked side by side their entire life in Granby as school bus drivers and later as Granby mail carriers. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary. She was loved and adored by all who knew her. She loved her family with all her heart. Besides her husband,  she is survived by three children all of Granby, Thomas Robert and wife Cathy, Marilee (Robert) Trompke and husband Mark, and John Robert and wife Theresa. She also leaves six grandchildren, Kimberly Javis Jesionowski (Andrew), Marisa Gray (Ryan), Matthew Trompke, Rebecca Schwinn (Eben), Madeline Farias, Theodore Robert (fiancé Mikayla Lastowski), 8 great grandchildren, Owen and Jayden Jarvis, Morgan, Lucille, and Jack Gray, Sadie and Phoebe Schwinn, and Noah Farias. She also is survived by her brother James Wordsworth and sister-in-law Jane, many nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends. Visiting hours will be held Monday, December 18, 2023, from 9-10:30AM followed by a funeral service at 10:30AM at Beers and Story Funeral Home 646 Newton Street, South Hadley. Burial will follow at the West Street Cemetery in Granby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Town of Granby/Council on Aging 10 West State Street, Granby, MA 01033.
