Obituary of Colista Theodore

Colista Theodore, born in Lenoxdale MA and a longtime resident of the Palmer area, passed away on 1/4/24, at the age of 91. Chris was a kind woman who found joy in spending time with her family both immediate and extended. She is survived by son James, son Glen and wife Liz, daughter and son in law, Paula and Skip McAndrews, granddaughters, Shannon McAndrews and partner Andrew, Leah McAndrews and partner Joaquin, grandsons Nathan VanDeusen, Kristian and spouse Leanne, Joshua and partner Kim, Marty McAndrews and partner, Jaylynn, six beautiful great-grandchildren, many special nieces and nephews as well as close extended family members, Sis and Amy McAndrews, Anita and Ernie Lambert. She was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Jimmy, her son George and her brothers and sister Jimmy, Richard, George and Virginia Stumbaugh. Relatives and friends are invited to Colista’s life celebration on Friday, January 12, at 11:00 AM at the Beers & Story Funeral Home Palmer MA with a reception to follow at St.Stans Club 2114 Main St Three Rivers,MA. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Colista’s name to DemandZero at www.demandzero.org/donate, a CT based non-profit created to help combat the opioid epidemic.
