Obituary of Ronald Paul Oparowski

South Hadley- Ronald Paul Oparowski, Sr., 73, passed away February 11, 2024. He was born on July 24, 1950 in Adams, Massachusetts to the late Casimer and Mildred (Drobiak) Oparowski. Ronald graduated from South Hadley High School, attended the University of Tampa, and graduated from AIC after earning his bachelor's degree. He previously worked as a branch manager for Chicopee Savings Bank and most recently as a loan officer at Monsanto. Ronald loved golfing, fishing, and was a great cook. He will be dearly missed. Besides his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Kathlyn (Moynihan) Oparowski, in 2022. His siblings, Edward Oparowski and Carol Wiggins also predeceased him. He is survived by his son, Ron Oparowski Jr and his wife Laura; grandchildren, Griffin and Brody Oparowksi; and his siblings, Richard Oparowski, Jeanne Oparowski, and Dorothy Schmidt. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 4-6pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately.
