Obituary of Mary Louise Rauschenbach

Granby- Mary Louise "Chickie" Rauschenbach, 94, passed away March 23, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born on November 25, 1929 in Readsboro, Vermont to the late Myron W. and Wilhelmina (Ahrens) Allen. Mary was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was very crafty and was a talented knitter. She also enjoyed doing puzzles, word searches, playing solitaire, and was an avid reader. Mary will be dearly missed by her children, Diane Percy, Joanne Gamelli (Greg), Merri-Anne Shippee, Tina Lukasik (Allan), William Shippee (Deb), and Robin Shippee (Dave), and her step-daughter Leslie Bourque. She also leaves her sisters, Stella Stevens and Harriet Maynard, as well as many extended family and friends. Services will be held on April 6, 2024 at 11:00 at the Church of Christ in Granby. Burial will be held at the family's discretion. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name can be made to Church of Christ, Granby adding General Fund in the memo line or please consider a donation of food and/or clothing to Granby To-Go.
