Helen Pisarczyk

Obituary of Helen L. Pisarczyk

Helen was born in Palmer on July 12, 1926, the daughter of the late Adam and Mary (Rzatkos) Wachta, and beloved wife of the late Rudolph Pisarczyk. Helen worked for the former Colorado CF & I and retired from the former Wm. E. Wright Co. A dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she leaves her family with many fond memories to cherish. Helen is survived by her children, Carol Borowiec (Edmund), Barbara Goncalves (Jose), Rudolph Pisarczyk (Deb), Janet Schoonover, and Deborah Ward (Stephen); grandchildren, Robert Borowiec, Angela Goncalves, Joseph Goncalves, Kristen (Jon) Redden, Rudy Schoonover, and Tyler Ward; great-granddaughter, Aaliyah Redden; brothers, Theodore Wachta of MA and Walter Wachta of SC; many nieces and nephews; step granchildren, Joe (Lexi) and Carrie; step great-grandchildren, Kayla and Brinlee; and her canine companion, Stella.
Helen was predeceased by her six sisters, Adele Gaudette, Julia Hayes, Anne Nocrasz, Caroline Skawski, Lena Socha, and Stasia Hall; and two brothers, Anthony Wachta and Stanley Wachta.
Helen loved to travel and spend time at the beach. She was a great cook and enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers. She was always there to help others and so she continues as her greatest wish was to be donated to a medical school and that was fulfilled.
A heart felt thank you from the entire family to Rudy and Deb, with whom she lived, for the wonderful care given to mom, to hospice for their care, and to Joe and Lexi Rollins for the caring help they provided, especially in her last days.
Services will be held privately at a later date. For those wishing, donations in her memory may be made to Divine Mercy Parish, 2267 Main St. Three Rivers, MA 01080.
