So many childhood memories...running and laughing, playing kickball and softball, the beagle dog, the cow pastures before the Jr. High or Wildwood for sledding and tumbling down the hills, listening to Beatles records on the front porch of the Costigan home. We had so much fun! Play on Hubert in the field of dreams!

Very sorry to see about Hubert in tonights Gazette. I have very great memmories of my teens hanging with the "BlackHats" of Amherst. Hubert and his Barracuda and the black hats letting me hang with such a cool group of guys. I also remember music on the front porch and remember as just a big friendly guy. I also was born in 1958 and that is much to short of a life. Just letting people know he touched people a long time ago also that will remember him forever.

Hubie was truly a wonderful person. I never heard him raise his voice or say anything bad about anyone, even when we were growing up. I am so glad that Mom Dad Joseph and I got to visit with him back in November. He will be missed here on earth, but know that he is rejoicing in the house of our Lord with Hubert and Lil, waiting for the day that the rest of his family will join them.
