John and Lea posted a condolence

Aunty Eleanor, Little Johnny and Brenda, No words could ever take away your pain at this time but know that we all have great memories of Uncle John. All the tuna's hanging in the apple tree, all the flounder filleting parties, stealing his tomatoes out of his garden, and most of all all, the corn on the cob nights. Those are just some of the best memories we have from our childhood days. His warm smile and hearty laugh will never be forgotten. Love to you all! Lea

Childhood memories full of wonderful fishing scenes. Memories of Uncle John, "Little" Johnnie, my Dad and me ice fishing at Lake Thompson on Saturdays, or fishing for trout on the Quabbin. My Dad loved him, so do I - Uncle John say hello to my Dad when you see him and have one for me! Love, Di

Having worked for John as a young man at the game farm, I think of all he tought me, and how he lived life. John will be missed by all that knew him. My most sincere sympathies to John Jr, and Elanor.

You and Johnny are in our thoughts and Prayers today! We wish we could have been there to help you both through these troubling times. We know he went way too fast and unexpected, but we can find peace in knowing he is in a much better place and we will see him again.. Our hearts go out to the family.. Love Bill & Mona
