Dear Daddy You always worked very hard to take care of Chipper and I. We appreciate that more than you know. As an adult I am now a better person just because of everything you taught me. When I am in the grocery store buying produce I think about how it should look coming fresh out of the garden and it just doesn't meet with my expectation as it's just not the same straight from your garden. Sometimes I get what seems "Okay" and other times I just does bother getting anything. The blueberries and strawberries were always my favorite. I know a lot of kids grow up not knowing about how to make maple syrup like you would show me how to do. It was always so good. Give Mommy a kiss for me and I love you both very much. Love Robin xxxxxxxxoooooooooo

Daddy, you are greatly missed by not only myself, but by so many other people as well. You had a very long and productive life, in which you had many joys and some sorrows. I always loved working with you and listening to your stories; from which I learned so much in my early years. I know that both you and Mommy are together and happy, and honestly I'm not and I am jealous of your new found joy. I must wait here, ever impatiently, until we can all be joined together as a family once again. Please, tell Mommy that she is beautiful. Her life was short, yet the amount of love that she gave to you and us children and the patients that she cared for as a nurse could have filled many lifetimes. And, also that I love her and miss both her and you painfully. Tell Gramma Carpenter, Great Nana Jenny, Nana, Uncle George, Armand and Aunt Gladys, Uncle John, Uncle Ralph, Aunt Hellen, Aunt Ruth, Aunt Priscella Wells, Aunt Priscellia Stanton, my friends Ann and Matt, and whom by absentmindedness I missed that I miss them and will join them (and you and Mommy) very soon in a truly better place, our version of heaven. With heartfelt love, your son, Lyman, Jr.
