My deepest condolences to the family. We've never met but we share a common ancestor, Jeremiah Denning, who was born in Ireland and came down from Canada to settle in St. Johnsbury, VT. My father was Robert Earl Denning. His father was Charles Denning who was the son of Jeremiah's son Jerry. Very sorry for your loss.

Patrick and Brian I worked with your dad at Sanderson Macleod. He spoke of you boys often...he loved you so. Your dad had a gruff outward personality at times, but he was really a kind and funny guy who would do anything to help a friend. He was always willing to listen and boy, did he make me laugh sometimes. I missed him when he left. My thoughts go out to you and your family. Godspeed Jere! Marlene

I'm so sorry to read about Jere's passing. I'm going to miss bumping into him around town as we've done for so many years. These short and sweet meetings gave us the time to keep up with each others lives. My thoughts, prayers and sympathy go out to all of you.

To Helen, Patrick, Brian, Mamie, Patrick, Sean and the Desmond family. Some of you may know me some of you may not. My brother, Michael Grimes was Jerry's best friend all his life. He recently lived in my brother's Michael upstair apartment and was always welcomed as part of our family. My son William Desmond would visit Jere often and enjoyed his visits very much. The Grimes family will miss Jere's Irish humor, wit and spirit. Irish Prayer May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields. May green be the grass you walk on, May blue be the skies above you, May pure be the joys that surround you, May true be the hearts that love you. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand. Amen.

Thank you my cousin, my friend, for all the things That meant so much to me-- For your concern and your understanding That you gave abundantly. Thanks for listening to me with your heart; For cheering me when I was blue; For trying to bringing out the best in me; And just for being you. Thanks for those in-depth conversations we had That stimulated my brain; For all those silly times we laugh out loud; For things I can't explain. For looking past my flaws and faults; For all the time you spend talking to me; For all the kind things that you did with me at my time of need, Thank you; thank you, my cousin, my friend. Johnny

Helen, Patrick, and Brian, Jere will be dearly missed by me and all the Desmonds. We were born only 6 months apart and our backyards as children were joined. In our little neighborhood at that time, it was always the Dennings and the Desmonds. We, the boys of both families, were inseparable for years and years in everything we did. There will always be a connection for me with Jere and the Denning boys. May you rest in peace my friend. My deepest condolences to all the Dennings, in this difficult time.

He will always look after you even in Heaven! He is now up with Bachi looking after her and helping her. I'm not saying this isn't a hard thing to go through. Try to Be strong for each other!
