Obituary of Jere Timothy Denning

"Jere T. Denning 58, died Friday, June 26 at UMASS Medical Center. Born in Palmer, May 11, 1951, he was the son of the late Richard and Ruth (Ryan ) Denning. An army veteran serving during Vietnam, Jere was the past Commander of the American Legion Post 130 in Palmer. He worked for many years in the maintenance department at Sanderson-MacLeod. He is survived by his two sons, Patrick Jeremiah Denning and Brian Duff Denning of Three Rivers, along with his brothers Patrick S. Denning of North Hampton, NH, and Sean Denning of Palmer, along with his sister Mamie Hurley of Thorndike. He also leaves his former wife, Helen (Aniskiewicz) Denning . Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Duff in 1989. Calling hours will be Thursday, July 2 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. The family requests donations be made in his memory to Baystate VNA & Hospice, 50 Maple Street, Springfield.
