My deepest sympathy to the family. I am happy I was able to share some moments and time with Richard while he was a member of the Springfield HOG Chapter. As a newcomer a few years ago he was always willing to talk and was always very positive about things. When he had his leg surgery I remember how determined he was to reabilitate and get back on the bike. Having broken my foot last year I certainly appreciate what he went through but I never heard him complain. I am glad I was able to know Richard for the short time that I did and he will be remembered by his friends of Harley. We carry a Memorial Flag for fallen members and we will certainly do not like to add names but we will have Richard names put on our flag as a permanent memorial. Richard will always ride and be with us.
