Bernie, I will always remember the deep Faith you showed by your presence at morning Mass at St. Anne's Shrine. And those Miraculous medals that you always bought at our Gift Shop, to give away to your patients, was a great inspiration to me. Enjoy now your presence with your loving & heavenly Father. We will miss you!

Auntie Bernie: You will always be in my heart as my most special "cool, young, & hip" Aunt. I have so many fond memories of family picnics, weddings, holidays, and other events with the family clan. Being Your Niece and a part of this large family has made my life happier and more fulfilled. I miss you, but I know you are at peace now and we will see eachother again. Thank You. I love you, Your Niece, Lisa

My deepest sympathies, to Chris and the whole family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. Mrs. Petersen was a caring, and lovely person. I will remember her for being so nice and extending medical advice and help when my son was ill. She didn't know me, or my son. Her actions are a testament to her nurturing personality.

Bernie, I fondly remember all the great times we had growing up together! You were more like a sister to me, than an aunt. Both Joanne and I have many fond memories of our visits with you and Chris and our children, both at our home and yours, and also sailing with you. We know that you are at peace now with our heavenly Father. We will keep you in our prayers. Chris, Maria and Christian, we send our sincere condolences for your loss. We will keep you in our prayers, and you will be united with Bernice again one day! Love, Joanne & Mike

Bernie, All the people at Mercy will always remember you. I was the lucky one to accompany Kathy, from the eye-center, who gave you the medal, the act which we witnessed daily done spritually by you. When the OR rooms ran late, you always came to our help with the unforgetable twinkling blue eyes and the broad smile asking lovingly "what's next darling?". May you rest in peace, we pray.

We have just learned of Bernice's passing, and are very sad that she is no longer with us. We extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family. Bernice was truly a beautiful person who showed great love towards everyone whom she met. We will always remember the special care and attention that she gave to my mother when Mary was in the ICU at Mercy several years ago. Bernice showed that same love and kindness to everyone throughout her life. She was very special to us and will always be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of great sorrow. May your many wonderful memories with Bernice bring you some comfort, and may the Lord's peace ease your sorrow. Love, Joe & Teri Gaze
