My memories of Gloria, were only happy ones. We shared a friendship of over 20 years. We went everywhere together. We went out to eat every week as long as I can remember. We laughed, we talked, sometimes we cried. We shared everything with each other. We went shopping, we went to Quabbin, we went to have her hair cut, and to have her nails cut. I looked forward every week to pick her up, and go to the Grapevine together. Sometimes, we were there for hours. We had so much to share, and talk about. Every time I picked her up, she would light up, and smile, and say I don't know what I would do without you. And I answered, same here. And now I don't know what I will do without her. The only consolation, that I can get, is the fact that I had her in my life, and was blessed to have her in my life, and to have known her. Memories never die. Gloria had so much Faith. And through the difficult times, when I started to lose mine, she somehow would bring me back. Gloria had a heart of GOLD. And so much wisdom. I told her she was my therapist. I will miss her more than she could imagine. Thank you Gloria for coming into my life. You will always be in my heart. Love, Nancy.

At morning Mass, Gloria would always pop up with apt attention right at the consecration. When I asked her about it, she said, “I like to think I am in the upper room with Jesus.” I never saw Mass the same again.
I will miss your exuberance, Gloria. You are a big S saint! Fondly, Rita the daffodil friend.
