My deep sorrow for your sudden, tragic loss. Doug was a beloved member of the Wednesday hiking group. The pandemic denied us our hiking enjoyment and friendship. I am so sorry the years of not meeting cannot be recovered with Doug.
To you, Jeanne, and Doug's family, condolences with the wish you have wonderful memories to remember and comfort you.
Doug and I had a common interest in conservation, which we enjoyed talking about on the trail. He will be remembered as such, an enthusiastic outdoorsman and hiking friend.

My deepest condolences go out to you Jeanne during this devastating time and to Doug’s family. My dear brother I will miss and love you forever. You were the backbone for our family and were always there for me whenever I had a problem. I will always remember how I was a little brat to you when I interrupted you during the time that you were watching your football game. You will be forever missed and never ever be forgotten. Love you!!! Your little sister Lois.
