Robin and I spent over 32 years of our lives together. Some good times and some not so good times. We were a family and together, we raised Kristi, Jackie and Cady and somehow we all survived those wonderful teenage years. And when our family expanded to include son in laws, Robin finally had some other guys in our family. For a man who was uncomfortable around babies and small children, when the grandkids were born, he enjoyed them tremendously, even though he would not touch them until they were at least 6 months old and wouldn’t break! He enjoyed taking them all for rides in his convertible antique cars and even installed car seats so they were allowed to ride with us. Saturday nights were special when the grandkids stayed overnight and Pop would pick up a special breakfast treat and sit to read the Sunday newspaper with them. Robin was a good man who we all loved very much and, at times, made it difficult to love him. Even though others may think to the contrary, I will miss him.
